Haiti Relief
In response to the earthquake and ensuing crisis in Haiti, the Proverbs 31 Women are mobilizing to raise funds to help orphanages in the area. If you would like to help, please consider sending a donation or giving online. 100% of all funds raised will go directly to helping the orphanages of Haiti recover from this crisis.
Currently, we are working to help the following orphanages:
Faith Orphanage — an orphanage in Jacmel, 25 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake. Faith Orphanage has lost all of their buildings and infrastructure, and their children are sleeping in the fields across the street from the ruins of their orphanage. No word has reached the Proverbs 31 Women yet about any injuries or deaths, but we are currently in prayer that all children and staff are safe and unharmed. This orphanage is sponsored by the The Journey, a church in Madison, Wisconsin, and works in association with Beautiful Child. Hands and Feet Project - a connected group of several orphanages all started by the Christian band, Audio Adrenaline. Some of these orphanages are not as close to the epicenter of the quake, but one was in Jacmel, 25 miles from the epicenter as well. Like Beautiful Child, it has suffered the total loss of its building and in both this and the other orphanages, the children are currently sleeping outside.
