Proverbs 31 Women
The
Proverbs 31 Women is a group comprised of faithful Christian women that
have responded to God's call on their lives to help the children of the
world in any way they can. To fulfill this call, the Proverbs 31
Women have taken the scripture of Proverbs 31 to heart, and have chosen
to invest their efforts in helping orphanages around the world care for
their children. We work with orphanages in rural areas to purchase
land to feed their children and to become self-sufficient in doing so.
We also assist urban orphanages in obtaining material necessities as
designated by orphanage coordinators. As prices for food grow higher and
higher all over the world, the Proverbs 31 Women believe that by helping
orphanages purchase land and obtain material resources to provide for
the children they support, they are helping those orphanages secure a
better and brighter future for generations to come.
In 2008, the Proverbs 31 Women initiated their
first purchase of land, buying a small farm in Eastern Kenya to support
the Victory Children's Home, which is run by Faith Prayers Church of
Kenya. This farm is the first in what the Proverbs 31 Women hope
will be a long line of farms purchased for many orphanages around the
world.

The Proverbs 31 Women are committed to answering God's call to support needy children by working to make certain that no orphanage has to turn a child away for fear of lacking food and resources to care for them.
